I don’t recall there ever being a senior prank when I was in high school (or maybe I just wan’t cool enough to know it was being planned).

But I bet if I were a senior now, the prank might be more technologically advanced than blocking the school entrances, streaking through the cafeteria or dropping water balloons on teachers. That’s at least what comes to mind when I think of senior pranks.

It may not be your conventional student break-in, but police in Holliston, Mass. are investigating a computer breach that apparently is being passed off as a senior prank. No word on whether any grades were changed or personal information accessed.

It may not warrant an appearance on that MTV show, “High School Stories,” which chronicles some of these mischievous examples, but it’s a prank nonetheless.

Still, if I were a student or a parent, I’d want my thrill-seeking classmates to stick to the traditional pranks. For one, I’d get way more entertainment out of seeing some physical act than a computer hack and two, I don’t want my personal data being accessed.

So here’s to releasing pigs in the hallway. That’s way more fun.
