We had to guess that after she made three attempts at rehab and found herself on the losing end of a battle with a hair clipper, Britney Spears would soon find her way into the good graces of spammers.

Now it’s official that the former pop princess has become a tabloid darling again: Nude Britney photos are being used in a spamming campaign to dupe your next-door neighbor (it’s never you that falls for this stuff, right?) into visiting websites hosting Microsoft’s now-patched ANI exploit.

This is another perfect example of the bad guys using current events to get their way. They figure that even if they get a tiny fraction of people to fall for the scam, it will more than justify their minimal efforts.
